Miyako Hotel Hakata's location was great. Once your step out of Hakata Station at L1, Chikushi Gate which is the East, you will see the hotel directing in front of you. However you may also enter via B1, somehow found it to be a roundabout way. But it is linked to the subway and JR stations. The breakfast was served on the 13th floor which is the top floor. There are 2 breakfast sets every morning either American or Japanese. I find the omelette in the American set too much for me. I like the Japanese set better, although it means I was eating rice every morning but the food was just right for me. There were also fruit juices, coffee and tea but everything is prepared only when you are there so the food was warm to my liking. It is not buffet-style. It is all served as a set to your table. Also both indoor and outdoor onsen are on the 13th floor but not visible when you go for your breakfast.

Unlike the Miyako in Kyoto, this 208-room property is not associated with Westin/Marriott. The hotel is relatively new, around four years old when writing this. We picked the Miyako Hotel Hakata for its excellent location right adjacent to the Hakata train station. The reception is on the third floor. The staff is friendly and professional, and the rooms are excellent - very spacious and bright. Fully equipped with any amenities you might need and with fantastic beds and pillows. The lights, curtains and drapes are controlled by a tablet on a bedside table. The hotel features a lovely outdoor pool on the top floor amd also has a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We tried the ten course dinner and it was very good. When in Fukuoka we will pick the Miyako again. One of the top hotels we have stayed at during our many hotel nights in Japan. The Miyako Hotel is located directly across the street from Hakata Station. It is also connected underground to Hakata Station. The rooms were very nice (we had two rooms). I liked the iPad to control the lighting, AC, do not disturb/make up room, etc. The tv had lots of channels available. The hotel WiFi was high-speed--I could text videos almost instantly. I also liked that you could tap your room key in the elevator, which would take you to your floor without pressing the floor button. The front desk, bell services, and housekeeping did a great job; they were helpful and courteous.

Miyako Fukuoka combines comfort, convenience, and excellent location. It boasts an unbeatable location right beside Hakata Station with B1 connection via exit East 7 of the airport trainline. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious enough to ensure a relaxing stay. Its proximity to transport hubs allows easy access to Fukuoka's attractions and beyond. A standout addition is the new McDonald located on the B1 floor, offering convenience for a quick meal or snack. This is our family's repeated stay and top choice for future ones.

venue: is excellent. Connected to subway/jr station hakata stayed 3 nights in 1421 room: best set up ever. there's space for everything. hook for clothes, toiletries in bathroom beddings: we love the firm bed but pillow has been terrible. toilet: even bubble bath foam is provided with bathtub, razor and toothbrush are of good quality. noise: none curtains: both day n night curtains kept the room litted like how we want it food: easy access to all restaurant. although i dont eat, MCD is right on 1st floor
